Playmaker Futbol Academy and Fusion Sports have partnered to launch Arizona’s premier soccer tournament series — a year-round slate of high-level, professionally operated events including The Derby, The Open, and the all-new Fusion Cup.

Together, Playmaker and Fusion bring elite player development and top-tier tournament execution under one banner. These events welcome all levels of competition, from nationally recognized academy teams to strong regional clubs, grassroots programs, and adult futsal enthusiasts. Whether you're competing in 11v11, 9v9, 7v7, or stepping into our first-of-its-kind futsal format at the Fusion Cup, each tournament is designed to elevate the game and build community.

THE PINNACLE OF YOUTH SOCCER COMPETITION.

Established in 2022, The Open has rapidly become one of the premier academy tournaments in the United States. In 2025, Fusion Sports partners with Tiger Tournaments to present the Junior Cup Championships — an elite outdoor event bringing together top U9-U16 boys and girls youth teams from across North and South America. Held December 5–7, 2025, in Scottsdale, Arizona, The Open is designed for high-performing clubs ready to compete on an international stage. It delivers best-of-the-best matchups, professional-level organization, and a tournament experience that makes a statement. This isn’t a showcase. This is The Open.
